Windy Dreams

One stormy night she came knocking on my door
I flew the door open and was taken into a trance:
She rolled out a carpet and vanished into a spell
Hell broke loose, she mesmerized the gale
Round and round she whirled,
Swirling, swishing, sparkling magic!

He lit a match in the rear, she burnt into a tear
He hit a thunderous cloud, and she hushed behind a shroud
She sobbed, she chanted, she hearkened to my silent guard
She twisted and turned, she whined till her whimpers waned
She blew on my face and played with my hair
She kissed on my cheek and tiptoed into the air
Oh I love her! I love her!
When she bursts with gusto
Alighting on my guise, like shards of ice
How I love her! Oh I do!
As she tempts me to life
Flashing her lashes in the tryst with time!

It's not time yet, to get up and go
Out to the orange tarts n' silvery hue
To live for life n' laugh for love
Before I see off the broken chains hanging down!

If love is to be strong, the lover ought to be stronger!

I am forgetful,
'coz i sometimes
am blind to what i see
it pours heavily,
yet i whine, in disquieting pain
for am wont to spurs of doubt
as lame as a mule in a bedlam
and i cling too hard,
only to scuff,
to falter all over again.

But then i throw up
all the grunge seething me under
gettin' back on my feet
i pause to unwind
when a soul so humane
transcending the horizon
dismisses the foggy rustles
resounding in every pulse

i know now, oh i know why
drops of dew finger on roses red
and the sun shines high
beyond the dismal sigh
and cools it off at dusk
leaving none to sulk

Now i smile,
i can run a mile and still smile
'coz there's faith
ever radiant, ever healing
as true as it can be;
and to keep smiling
at the twinkling stars as
they hide behind showers
to believe there'd be a morrow
when it shall be warm again
to seek and serve the One
above all that is or is not
as if it never did matter!

Prostrate, before the power
that sustains my spirit
there's nothing that can prey on me
for i am where i ought to be,
whiffing a laugh, afloat in glee
alive to the calls, cries and kissies
Nourished by the essence of being
there's more to give, less to take
for its peace within, peace abound
in knowing that He keeps promises
mine, yours, and ours.
